SOUS 1st Wednesday Card sketch!

Happy Wednesday, everyone and welcome to another Card sketch Reveal Day at Stuck on U Sketches. Here is my submission for the DT.

This one was made using up some gorgeous Pion papers, paper doiles and one of my fave Dusty Attic chipboard pieces, Heart Flourish DA0667.

The chippie was painted with a combination of Glimmer Mists, Decadence for the brown and Ivy for the green. The green portion was also dabbed with some cream  paint and then covered with Dirty Martini Glimmer Glam. Lastly, I've added some pale green flat backed pearls. There are slso some pearls along the top and bottom of the card as a finishing touch.

Next I set about making my rolled flowers using Sandi Smith's spiral roses technique. I've since purchased the Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms Die and think I"ll be using that a lot! But these were tons of fun to do and look much better than my first attempt!

I've added some pale pink crinkle ribbon on the left of the heart along with some pink and white twine, another rose and a white stick pin. Love the combination of twine along with crinkle ribbon.

My sentiment was done with a generic stamp I got at Michael's. I've long since forgotten the brand, sorry.

I think that about wraps it up for today. I have a few more projects to share and then my blog may get kind of quiet. We are in the midst of a move and there is no time for scrapping! :( But soon ...

Thanks for coming by! I hope you will pop by Stuck on U Sketches and see what the DT has done this time around! Further, we hope that you will play along with us! You'll have 2 weeks to upload your card for a chance at being chosen part of the Top 3!

Hope the rest of your week is great!
