SOUS Sketch Reveal Day! Oct 12

Happy Friday! Welcome to sketch Reveal Day over at Stuck on U Sketches.  We have another wonderful original sketch, this time by our lovely co-creator and designer Nanne Harry. And I'd love to share my submission.

As many of you already know, most of my scrappy goodness is packed away ready for our move to the new house. I've kept a few basic things where I can get to them, although I must admit that my heart does not seem to be in creating right now. There is just too much on my mind  ... so many tasks that need to reach completion to make for a semi-smooth house to house transition. But I did get my box of Swirlydoos goodness in the way of the September kit called "Inspiration" and featuring Prima's Romance Novel papers. Such a beautiful kit, too!

Anyway, I choose some cheerful colors and an already printed  photo of one of the dgd's and made this quick little page. Again, I have not done any distressing .. trying to avoid making any messes so that I don't have to clean yet something else!!

I've used my Martha Stewart Floral vine punch along with my Wild Flower punch and layered them on the black Core'dinations card stock. Added some bling and flowers to frame the photo along with a journaling card as a mat. The title were pieces from an older kit, as were the scrumptious yellow Melissa Frances stems.

And don't you love my colorful little banner tied together (I use the word loosely, LOL) with some red and white twine.

Yummy Prima .. what can I say? Added a few leaves just because .. as well as the MF stems. I've also stucked in a Romance Novel trinket but it is a bit hard to see right here. Trust me, gorgeous!

And the other side of the photo.

And lastly, my sweet little banner. I've learned to make the perfect V using the corner of a square punch!

Not too shabby considering that (yes, Tracey) I have one arm tied behind my back! And pulling this little page together was a great stress reliever!

I hope that you will have an opportunity to visit Stuck on U Sketches and see what the rest of the DT has done. Remember you will have to weeks to complete a project and upload it to the site. Can't wait to see what you do with Nanne's great sketch!

Have a scrap happy weekend. Thanks for leaving me some sweet comments .. I cherish them all.
