C'est Magnifique December Kit Reveal ...

Welcome! It's Reveal Day at C'est Magnifique Kit Club and I couldn't be more happy to share the kit contents as well as 1 more of the 5 pages I've done using the Kit.  (Check out last Monday's post if you haven't already!) I love scrapping Christmas and sailed through this kit in record time. I wanted to slow down and savor this one but I was on a roll and couldn't stop!

Anyway, once I finally committed to using this silly little photo ... (my lips are sealed as to the identities of my photo subjects!  =) ) ... I let loose and had some good 'ole Christmas fun with this beautiful kit! I layered up a storm with papers, flowers, resins and chipboard from the C'est Magnifique December Kit and add-ons.  I loved the mix of different shades of green (especially the lime)  that contrasted with the red and the stark white surrounded by that awesome dark brown frame of the Kaisercraft Die Cut paper from the kit. Nothing like playing with traditional Christmas colors to get you in the Spirit! I even let Santa join in the fun!

Love these colors!

Just had to get a wee bit of stenciling in!

And this chipboard banner is a great stand-alone piece or can be tucked into  a flower cluster or used as a layer.

To complete my layout I have used the Main Kit, the Flower Add-on and the Embellishment Add-on.
From my stash I've used: Stencil and molding paste.

Okay, now I have the Main Kit content photos for you!

And close-ups:

Be sure and check The Store to see about the current availability of the kit and add-ons. You are going to want this one, I'm sure!

I'll be back tomorrow with the December sketch and another layout using the December Kit along with the sketch ... it's my fave, too!

Sneak Peek layouts using the C'est Magnifique December Kit ...

Hello, everyone! I'm here with you today, sharing a few sneak layouts using the December C'est Magnifique Kit, "Holiday Magic."  Leslie always puts together the most beautiful kits but being a lover of all things Christmas, this one truly "sang my name!"

"Christmas Greetings"

First up I went a little outside my normal box and scrapped in the upper left-hand corner and used the printed red paper as my background instead of a more solid design.  In the Spirit of Christmas, I decided that paper tearing was in order! The flowers from the FAO are so gorgeous and perfectly compliment the remainder of the kit! You will also see a bit of the Blue Fern Studios Graduated Circles that I gesso'd and brush with the VersaColor chalk ink. The chipboard and lace make for layering fun!

The photo is of the slimline tree that we had to buy last year to better acommodate our downstairs floor plan.

To complete my layout I have used the Main Kit, the Flower Add-on and the Embellishment Add-on.
From my stash I've used: Gesso and pearls.

"Time to Shop"

Next is a photo of my 3 darling daughters on a recent annual Girl's Shopping Day.  I loved the blue and beige tones of some of the Kit paper that are so perfect for any type of wintery page. I did a bit of stenciling, more paper tearing and layering. I added in the Blue Fern Studios Shabby Bricks as a layer and left them bare.

The neutral flowers are just beautiful against these Inkido papers!

To complete my layout I have used the Main Kit, the Flower Add-on and the Embellishment Add-on.
From my stash I've used: Stencil, molding paste, seam binding and jute.

"Christmas Thoughts"

This was actually the first layout I made using the December "Holiday Magic" Kit.  I am a big angel collector and have tons of angels! One year I decided to put about a dozen of my Christmas  angels on my tree. This photo is of a fave!  My layout is based on a sketch by dear friend Nanne' Harry for Stuck on U Sketches.  Again, I've used the BFS Graduated Circles, treating them with gesso, some stamping and then used some mist.

I loved adding the Heidi Swapp Color Shine on this page. It really sparkles and helped emphasize the starry stencil from my stash!

To complete my layout I have used the Main Kit, the Flower Add-on and the Embellishment Add-on.
From my stash I've used: Stencil, molding paste, Gesso, stamp, cheesecloth and gold paper doilies.

Thanks for stopping by today! Stay tuned for the Full Reveal coming up this next Saturday, November 30th.  See you then!
And Happy Thanksgiving to all you US gals!

Layout #5 fior C'est Magnifique Kit Club

It's me again!
For my last layout using the C'est Magnifique November kit, I decided to have some fun with my Gelatos and mists and created a swath of color across the page before using a stencil and molding paste for texture.  I love adding the sweet BoBunny banner over a piece of lace.

"Delight"

C'est Magnifique Sketch Reveal Day

Hello, scrappers! I am back again today to share  my take on the November C'est Magnifique sketch.  This was a really fun one to do!

Once again I went crazy with the flames! Do be careful as this paper seemed to burn very quickly! Just FYI. Then I splattered some inks randomly across the page, colorized a few flowers and started layering. I loved using a few loose ornaments from the studded ribbon. This is sweet dgd Marianne.

And close-ups:

To create my layout I've used the Main kit as well as the Flower Add-on and Embellishment Add-on.
From my stash: mists.

And here is that great sketch by Michele Singh:

Be sure and check the C'est Magnifique BLOG  to see all the challenge rules. We would love to see your layouts using our sketch.  Our Sketch Challenge is open to everyone and you may use any supplies you have on hand.  You do not need to be a member of our kit club to participate.  You do not have to use any specific products.  Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch, but we do want to be able to look at your layout and tell that you used the sketch.

I guess that's it from me today! Thanks for coming by! Love, love, love reading your comments!
