My Creative Scrapbook ~ 2 more January projects!

Hello, everyone! I am back today with a couple more layout using the January Limited Edition Kit from My Creative Scrapbook Kit Club. The photo is of my granddaughter Maddison. This layout almost didn't happen but my 4th project got totally ruined, so here you are! I put this one together with my scraps! :)

And finally, here is project #4! And here is Maddison with her sweet family. They are leaving for missionary training and will soon begin their fund raising, one of the hardest parts. Anyway, I love the newsprint papers from the Kit but mixed in some of the orange to complement the blues from the photo. 

Once again, I've used the stencil and added the fun Dear Lizzy Watercolor Words which I merely inked in black.

My Creative Scrapbook January Kit Reveal!

Hello, all! It's time for the January Kit Reveal at My Creative Scrapbook Kit Club. As always I got to work with the gorgeous Limited Edition Kit.  Pam decided to brighten the horizon this month with Kaisercraft's Tropical Punch and of course, lots of gorgeous Prima! This one is chock-full of papers, flowers, resins, ribbon and fun alphas! Oh, and a fun Mr Huey's chevron stencil! 

So,  I'm starting you off with my "Lucille" page this time. The photo is from the Everett Collection, 1940's. Lots of gesso and molding paste for heightened interest.

This is my sweet granddaughter Marianne. Now, we don't condone pouting but the photo was  just too perfect for these papers! I love her fun hat! I've used the Mr. Huey's stencil here as you can see. Once again, lots of gesso to soften and blend. I also removed one layer of my yellow Divine flower to make it a bit smaller for my cluster. Lots of fun layers, both in papers, embellies and flowers!
