I love Reveal Day! ~ My Creative Scrapbook

Hello, there scrappy people!
I'm here today to share the first of my creations from the March My Creative Scrapbook Kit Club's Limited Edition Kit. This month's kit features the swoon-worthy Tales of You & Me from Prima and designed by scrappy friend, Frank Garcia. Kit contents include 3 packages of the co-ordinating flowers that match this paper collection, a 30 piece chipboard set, brads, the Prima stencil and then so much more … trims, pearls, chipboard, cheesecloth and alphas. Mega Kit for sure!
My Kit contents reveal is on Youtube. Here is the link to my video which shows you everything that is coming in your kit ..  I inadvertently didn't receive the 30 pc chipboard set but I posted a photo of it!

So, here's my "Lucy" page for the month! I thought some pink and some glam would be a perfect mix! Then I distressed it a bit by adding the corrugated cardboard.

Here's a closer view of the center chipboard, and photo layers along with my florals and pearls. You can see that I've added the cheesecloth as a layer. Aren't those berry clusters amazing?!

I almost always use this Memory Box bubble stencil from my stash on my Lucy pages … keeps the theme going. You can also see my black and white paint splatters and some of my color around the photo. That is the Blue Fern Studios Cotton Candy mist from last month's kit. 

Aw, there is some more cheesecloth peeking out and some mixed media work. 

I love the look of corrugated cardboard and torn paper, so this layout makes me happy!

"Anticipation" with Courtship Lane ~ Blue Fern Studios March Sketch Challenge!

 It's time for another new sketch challenge for you over at Blue Fern Studios.  

 Michele Singh has created this beautiful sketch exclusively for Blue Fern! 

This month the Design Team is using the "surprise" brand new Courtship Lane collection! 

You're going to love it! 

And here is the March sketch!

One lucky winner, selected by a random draw, will receive a prize package of Blue Fern Studios chipboard!

In addition, we will also select 3 (or more) layouts to feature.

We have just a few simple rules to follow if you would like to participate in our sketch challenge:

1.) Feel free to interpret the sketch as you please by means of taking it as-is or 

flipping/turning/mirroring it to suit your needs! 

2). Please note that you can do whatever type of project you please - a layout, card, 

  canvas, altered item- whatever suits your mood and style! 

We would love to see the different ways our sketch can be used.

3.) You must use at least one piece of Blue Fern Studios chipboard OR use Blue Fern Studios paper on your project. Please note that you do not need to use the pieces featured in the sketch

- use whatever suits your fancy! You can find the store nearest you HERE.
 {Do not use any other brand of chipboard on your project please!}

4.) Upload your project using the Inlinkz tool on the Blue Fern Studios Blog

by midnight EST on March 31, 2016.
