I am working my way through some of my old childhood photos because I don't think anyone else will ever scrap them, so I'm doing a few here and there. That's me with my little Easter basket. And new Easter bonnet .. check it out! Heehee! Then there's a photo with Mom and Dad. The only thing missing is a related photo of my dear Uncle Gene that I plan to insert where the banner is. The page will be less balanced and not so DT perfect but I'd like for it to be there. He is only a couple years older than I and we had many years of doing the Easter thing together ... and I don't want to ever forget that. He's a sweetie.
My papers are Pink Paislee's London Market. Now be sure to check out my new PAP punch .. Martha Stewart's Spiral Arches punch. My hubby paid big bucks to order it online for me for my birthday. I'm loving it! For my circles from the sketch, I used both the paper collection and doilies on top of them. I punched the edges of the circles with a corner punch but you can barely see that.
My florals are a mix of Manor House and vintage Prima along with a craft store stem. I surrounded it with some white Prima bling. Of course my Webster's Pages bloomers count as flowers too, right?!!
There are 2 pieces of Dusty Attic mixed in .. one as my title mat and one to frame the photo on the left. I've painted them white and then salmon using my paint dabbers. My alphas are also Webster's Pages and the butterflies are made with my Martha Stewart punches. There is hidden journaling on a tag behind my photo.
I think that's about it. I worked a 12 hour day today and my mind is turning a bit mushy LOL! I hope that you will find the time to play along with our sketch challenge this time around. We can wait to see what you do! Be sure you visit all the designers, they have outdone themselves AGAIN !
Have a scrap happy weekend!
