Handmade Cards with Sandi ~ Creative Embellishments

Hello, Creative Embellishments fans!
I'm back today with another Design Team project featuring their wonderful Chipboard!
Because my card stash is getting low, I decided I needed to whip up a couple.

I couldn't help but reach for some of my new 13 Arts products to achieve some gorgeousness. My papers and medium are all listed at the end of the post. I must say that the 13 Arts Rose Fields paper is divine! Pink and black are always so pretty together.

I was also itching to work with some more of the Artist Trading Coins that Nicolle has designed for the Creative Embellishments Store. They are so fun and easy to alter with such a new way to kick up any project.

On this first design, I layered a couple of my favorite papers, then decided to place the ATC coins right in the center. These are from the Shape Artist Trading Coins and were altered 2 different ways. The one on the left was painted white, while the one on the right was painted with the Raspberry Paint. After the painted was dried, I brush some the silver glitter paint on them.
For these, I did add the actual Artist Trading Coins which I covered with coordinating paper. After they were all layered up, I added them to my project. Placing the paper behind them, helps them pop a bit.

Because I am sending this one as a Get Well card, I added the Thinking of You chipboard from the Small Sentiment Words. This was also painted white. I finished with flowers, sisal, gesso and paint splatters.

For this guy, I turned the card base vertically and covered it with a few papers.
This time I choose the Winter Artist Trading Coins and did not add the actual Artist Trading Coins. Instead, I settled for white paint again that was then dry brushed with the silver glitter paint.

The Hope sentiment is from the Dream Word Set and was treated the same.
This time around, I was trying to achieve a less dimensional card so that I could easily pop this one in  the mail without the need for a padded envelope. Haha, one can dream!

It was finished with some sisal and florals and is now ready to be given!

One last view of these two beauties!
