This is a favorite photo of me and Dad taken many years ago. I had just gotten my first pair of skates and Dad set about teaching me to use them with my Mom close at hand. Sadly, I did take a fall that day and hit my head but oh well, I did finally learn to skate!
I just recently ordered the gorgeous Flourish Border 3 and was itching to use it. Since I chose these earth tones for my papers (13 Arts End of Summer collection), I opted to paint my chipboard with Walnut Stain. I also used Walnut on my awesome title piece Just a Dad and his Girl. The Walnut provided a great vintage vibe.
While that was drying, I added some random stamping with the Distressed Moroccan Stamp.
Another Design Team member requested this awesome title piece be created and man, am I ever glad that Nicolle obliged! It is perfect for this beloved photo from when I was young. I was and will forever be a Daddy's girl.
Butterflies, flowers and all done!
Thanks for coming by today!
See you next time!

Oh Sandi! You should FRAME this one! I spray paint some of my frames in an oil rubbed bronze that would be stunning with this layout! It's GORGEOUS! And I especially love that it's YOU and your Dad!!! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks, my friend! You are so kind!
